Pahalgam is one of Kashmir's important fishing retreats, with plump trout in abundance, whilst on the Dal Lakes learn to catch fish the traditional way! Indus Kashmir will arrange permits and guides for your trip – whether it be for an afternoons relaxation or a week or more

Gulmarg: Recreational Park, 3 hours Fishing & can catch 4 Fishes

Distt. Anantnag: (1) Lidder (2) Aru (3) Brenghio (4) Verinag
(5) Nowbugh (7) Mahand (8) Aharbal (9) Kokarnag

Only Brown Trout is available in Kashmir Trout Waters:

Conditions:-
No natural or alive bait will be used at the time of fishing.

No fish will be hooked below 25 cms. If a small fish is hooked by chance & is injured in the way it cannot survive it will be counted to the bag limit.

No spinning rod Spinners or spinning rod will be allowed to us.

No worms, frogs, mulbaries both natural and artificial bait will be allowed to use.

Only fly rods with artificial flies will be allowed to use.

Fishing will be purely on one’s own risk & responsibility.

• Day 1 To Srinagar
  Arrival Srinagar
  Meeting, assistance upon arrival and transfer to deluxe Houseboat or Hotel for two nights stay.. (Please state preference on the booking form) After lunch relaxing ride on a traditional ‘Shikara’. Visit the floating gardens and glimpse the unique lifestyle of the Lake people.
   

• Day 2 Srinagar - Sonamarg
  After early breakfast leave Hotel for full day trip of Sonamarg (The Meadow of Gold) Sonamarg serves as base for the Pilgrims visiting Holy Cave of Amaranth. Lunch at Hotel Glacier View Sonamarg .After Lunch explore scenic spots in & around Sonamarg and go out to fish for Mahseer or trout in the crystal waters of the river .
  Return to Srinagar in the evening for overnight stay.
   

• Day 3 To Pahalgam
  After breakfast , drive to Pahalgam , en route visit the saffron fields and the ruins of the 1100 year old Awantipura Vishnu Temple. The drive is quite beautiful meandering through mighty Pine Forests. Two nights at Pahalgam. Stay at Senator Pine and Peak.
   

• Day 4 Pahalgam
  After breakfast , go out for fishing to your allocated beats and enjoy the world famous Trout from Kashmir. In the evening drive to Srinagar and check inn at Hotel Grand Mumtaz for Overnight stay.
   

• Day 5 To Delhi.
  After breakfast ,transfer to Srinagar International Airport for your onward journey.
